Specialist law firm Meridian Lawyers has announced it will expand its operations into ACT with the launch of a new office and team. 

The new team will be headed by former HWL Ebsworth Lawyers special counsel Angel Li, who has been appointed as a principal. Ms Li has more than 10 years of insurance litigation experience, with expertise in various types of claims, including CTP, public liability, workers’ compensation, and motor and recovery.  

She will be joined by senior associate Jesse Iliopoulos and associate Christine Neou, who were also previously employed at HWL Ebsworth Lawyers, where they served as associates.  

Meridian MD Paul Baker says the expansion broadens the firm’s reach nationwide and has been “well received” by its client base.   

“Paying close attention to requests from our clients, and as a direct result of our growth over the past six months, we are excited to have a local presence in Canberra,” Mr Baker said.  

Meridian’s new ACT office is located on Level 2, 15 National Circuit, Barton, ACT 2600.
