Meridian Lawyers has announced a series of hires to its Sydney offices as part of an expansion of its insurance team.

The law firm has appointed Isabel Cusumano and Phillip Thomas as special counsels, with Nicholas Robertson and Mia Ioannou also joining as Senior Associates.

Meridian MD Paul Baker praised the new appointments for their “depth of experience” in insurance law, notably in casualty and recovery sectors.

Meridian says the new appointments will be supplemented with future support staff hirings.
