Medical expert joins MIGA board
Medical Insurance Group Australia (MIGA) has appointed obstetrician and gynaecologist Andrew Pesce to its board.
Dr Pesce is a former president of the Australian Medical Association.
He was appointed to the independent panel advising the Productivity Commission during its inquiry into a national disability scheme and is also chairman of the National Injury Insurance Scheme Medical Misadventure Advisory Group.
“Andrew is already a member of MIGA’s NSW medical advisory panel and will also join our clinical risk management committee,” MIGA CEO Mandy Anderson said.
“He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to MIGA and will add great value to the group.”
