Building industry underwriter Mecon Winsure has named Dirk Wiesner as Victorian State Manager.

He joined the company in January as senior development underwriter in Victoria, having previously worked in the construction, engineering and property divisions of large insurers including QBE and Allianz.

Mecon Winsure has also appointed Grant Anderson as Senior Underwriter in its Brisbane office.

He has previously worked in construction and mobile plant underwriting.
