Forensic accountant MDD has confirmed topics for its fourth annual panel discussion on Wednesday.

Discussions will centre on securities class actions and setting the standard on mining business interruption claims.

MDD Director for Australia and New Zealand Chris Ehlers expects 130 people will attend the seminar at the Westin Sydney.

“The idea is to get two panellists who have claims experience on a particular topic, and then have an open discussion,” he told insuranceNEWS.com.au.

“It is about exploring some of the challenges in identifying and quantifying some of these claims.”
