The seventh McLardy McShane Reach Christmas Lunch raised more than $83,000 to help young people.

The event is an alternative Christmas party for McLardy McShane clients, industry colleagues and associates to support youth charity the Reach Foundation.

It has raised nearly $800,000 since its inception in 2009.

This year’s speakers included Olympic gold medallist Leisel Jones, AFL CEO Gillon McLachlan, his sports broadcaster brother Hamish and Melbourne singer-songwriter Nussy.

Allianz, Nautilus Marine, QBE and Sports Underwriting Australia sponsored the event on December 2.
