McLardy McShane conference celebrates decade of success
About 150 delegates headed for Hamilton Island over the weekend for the McLardy McShane conference.
The expanding brokerage is celebrating its 10th anniversary, and it is 35 years since CEO Don McLardy and director Mike McShane first met.
The conference heard the company expects an $80 million turnover this year, and profit of $2 million.
In the past year, an underwriting agency and in-house finance company have been established, a new branch opened in Sydney, and eight new authorised representatives have joined the group.
“People are paramount in our group and it is great to have 150 join us in Hamilton Island for our 10th anniversary celebrating the past, present and future of McLardy McShane,” Mr McLardy said.
“It’s a fun-filled couple of days showcasing our values and culture, as well as openly sharing our business plans and the future direction of the McLardy McShane Group.”
