Zurich has appointed Allianz Sales and Distribution Manager for Melbourne Metro Ross McCallum as its new State Distribution Manager for Victoria and Tasmania.

Mr McCallum, a 14-year sales management veteran with the insurance industry, is also the former national cluster manager for Allianz, where he developed and managed sales strategies across broker groups and other intermediary networks.

Zurich State Manager for Victoria and Tasmania Chris O’Connor says Mr McCallum is “well known and highly regarded among brokers” and will help strengthen relations with the broker community.

“We are implementing several key initiatives designed to enhance the broker experience, along with continual investment in our broker relationships,” Mr O’Connor said.

Mr McCallum will join Zurich on June 24.
