McCabes’ insurance division has been named Australian insurance law firm of the year by Corporate INTL magazine, for the second year running.

Divisional Leader Stuart Windybank says the UK magazine appoints independent judges for the award, and McCabes’ win reflects the growth of its insurance operation.

In January the division appointed two new principals: Michael Cooper, who specialises in personal injury claims, and Leighton Hawkes, who defends public and product liability claims and contract works, and construction liability exposures.
