The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) says Marsh Head of Risk Management Asia and Pacific Scott Leney has joined its board of directors.

‘[His] experience, industry knowledge, and passion for driving successful customer outcomes will greatly benefit ANZIIF and ensure we remain relevant to all the members that we serve,” ANZIIF CEO Prue Willsford said.

Mr Leney last year took up the Marsh role last year, a newly created position to assist larger clients amid a difficult environment.

He has more than 30 years’ industry experience and has led the Australian business since the acquisition of JLT was finalised in early 2019.

Mr Leney was previously Marsh Pacific CEO.
