The Melbourne Marine Insurance Forum will host a session on Victorian marine safety on May 20.

Transport Safety Victoria’s Director of Maritime Safety Peter Corcoran will be guest speaker, providing an overview of issues in the state.

Mr Corcoran and his team regulate waterways, investigate accidents, license vessels and skippers, collect data and set standards.

The presentation will be at the offices of Colin Biggers & Paisley in Collins Street from 11am.
