Allianz, CGU, Chubb, QBE and Suncorp are this year’s Large General Insurance Company of the Year Australian Insurance Industry Awards finalists. 

Suncorp won the category last year. 

The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) revealed the finalists in 17 award categories last week.  

Now in its 19th year, ANZIIF will unveil the winners on August 24 at The Star in Sydney. Tickets to the event, which will feature Network Ten Whadjuk Noongar journalist Narelda Jacobs as Master of Ceremonies, are available here. 

The Insurance Leader of the Year and ANZIIF Lifetime Achievement Award categories will be announced at the event.  

Aon, Honan and the 2022 winner Marsh are in the running for Large Broking Company of the Year, and there are seven finalists for the Young Insurance Professional of the Year award. 

"This year, we are celebrating how our industry has continued to support its customers, communities and its people, along with recognising the extraordinary achievements of the diverse talent within our industry,” CEO Prue Willsford said.
