Former CGU manager Peter Walker has joined Wesfarmers subsidiary Lumley as regional property manager for NSW and Queensland.

He is the second former CGU executive to arrive at Lumley this month following the recruitment of Steven Duong – formerly senior underwriter, construction and engineering at CGU – as state product manager for NSW.

Mr Walker, a 26-year veteran of the industry, worked for CGU Insurance as a business development manager for the past five years. He was previously an underwriting manager for liability, motor, engineering and construction, and businesses development underwriting manager in NSW.

After 15 years with Lumley, Andrew Mitchell has left his NSW property liability manager role to pursue other interests.
