Job researcher Great Place to Work has given Lockton Australia and New Zealand its official seal of approval.

The organisation awards top workplace certificates based on staff surveys about relationships with management, colleagues and their jobs in general.

“We have worked diligently over the past couple of years to cultivate a positive workplace culture and it’s an absolute delight to receive recognition, reaffirming our commitment to making our company culture a top priority,” Lockton head of HR Fiona Bridge said.

Employees share feedback about their organisations’ culture by responding to 60 statements and answering two open-ended questions. A “great” employee experience is defined by high levels of trust, respect, credibility, fairness, pride and camaraderie.

In Australia, 148 Lockton staff responded to the survey, 91% of whom agreed it was a great place to work. In New Zealand, 25 workers all agreed.

Also certified are Allianz, AUB Group, Austbrokers Comsure, Berkley, ClaimsCo, Community Broker Network, personal injury claims manager EML and Insurance Advisernet Australia.

In 2022, Howden Insurance Brokers Australia topped the group’s “Australia’s best workplaces” list.
