Lloyd’s Head of International Regulatory Affairs Andrew Gurney will speak at a breakfast event before this year’s Underwriting Agencies Council (UAC) expo in Sydney.

Mr Gurney, responsible for international trading rights in more than 75 jurisdictions, will outline Lloyd’s perspective on the Australian and Asia-Pacific markets.

This year marks the 20th annual Sydney Underwriting Expo, and UAC GM William Legge says it has already attracted more than 90 exhibitors.

“It’s a key opportunity in the insurance industry calendar for UAC members to liaise face to face with brokers and explain in depth the products and services they offer,” he said.

The events will be at the Hyatt Regency on March 8.

The expo is free for brokers, who are encouraged to register on the UAC website. The breakfast with Mr Gurney costs $100. Tickets are available here.
