Lloyd’s Chairman Lord Levene will give the keynote speech at the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance’s (ANZIIF) Sunshine Seminar on the Gold Coast next month.

It will be Lord Levene’s final visit to Australia as Lloyd’s chairman. He will retire later this year after nine years in the role.

The seminar on July 20-21 will focus on “weathering the future”, with speakers including institute CEO Joan Fitzpatrick and Insurance Council of Australia GM Risk and Disaster Planning Karl Sullivan, who will discuss risk management and reputation.

The speakers and industry leaders’ forums will cover issues around dealing with catastrophes, key performance trends for the Australian insurance market and business planning for climate change in Queensland.
