Sindri Bergsson, who has worked with Australia’s large insurers for more than a decade, has joined Ligeti Partners as a principal lawyer in its property team in Sydney. 

MD James Mulcahy says the change follows recent team additions in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. The Sydney office opened in 2015 and is led by Principal Lawyer Spencer Pascal. 

“In taking a leadership role in our property team, Sindri will ensure we continue to provide a fantastic service to our commercial and general insurance clients,” Mr Mulcahy said. “He is highly regarded within the legal profession and amongst insurers.” 

Mr Bergsson, who spent almost seven years at Mills Oakley, says he is looking forward to contributing to growth and maintaining high standards.
