Law firm raises cash to help African children
Insurance law firm Wotton + Kearney collected $2000 at a fundraiser in Melbourne as part of its partnership with education charity So They Can.
So They Can aims to transform the lives of African women and children.
Wotton + Kearney wants to raise $50,000 to support the feeding and education of almost 80 children for a year.
Last week’s event was part of a wider series, with the next occasion a black-tie dinner on August 9.
A Wotton + Kearney team will spend 10 days in Kenya next month visiting So They Can’s projects in Nakuru and providing hands-on assistance.
The team will also take part in the Maasai Mara half-marathon.
