Clyde & Co has promoted Sydney-based lawyers James Rigney and Luke O’Kane to the role of partner within its insurance practice.

Mr Rigney works across the firm’s financial lines team and its construction professional indemnity offering, while Mr O’Kane is an expert in general and complex personal injury, general liability, historical sexual abuse and property damage. 

The law firm has also made three promotions to special counsel in its insurance technology and media practice – Brisbane-based Claudia Dennison and Sydney-based Jacky Li and Stuart Lloyd.  

Hannes Marais from Brisbane has been promoted to special counsel in insurance professional and financial disputes.
