Registrations close in two days for Claims Convention 2014, an annual event run jointly by the Australasian Institute of Chartered Loss Adjusters and the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance.

More than 300 claims professionals have already registered, and the organisers say they have extended the registration deadline by a few days.

The convention will explore the changing world of claims, with topics such as cyber security, fraud and the impact of social media.

insuranceNEWS.com.au publisher Terry McMullan will lead panels discussing the offshoring of claims and the latest industry developments.

The convention will be held at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth on August 13-14.
