Jennifer Lang has been appointed Head of Insurance Practice at KPMG.

She takes over from Brian Greig, who held the position from 2003 and is now moving to Switzerland to take up a senior role with the firm.

Ms Lang joined KPMG earlier this year as a partner. She has more than 25 years’ experience in insurance, wealth management and superannuation.

So far with the company she has focused on risk and capital management, while also leading its response to new capital standards for insurers, due to be introduced next year.

Ms Lang was previously chief actuary at CommInsure, where she was in the executive team responsible for managing Commonwealth Bank’s life and general insurance business.
