Kennedys announces 10 promotions
The Australian arm of global insurance law firm Kennedys has promoted 10 lawyers to new senior roles in Sydney and Melbourne.
The senior staff appointments span its Insurance, Healthcare, Liability and Employment teams.
Kennedys Australia Managing Partner Matt Andrews says the promotions reflect the “growth opportunity in front of us” in a challenging market and a commitment to an expanded range of services in Australia.
“Our clients’ needs are evolving, and increasingly they are putting their confidence in our team to deliver on these needs,” he said.
Promotion to Senior Associate: Jane Cahill and Kelly Grant, Liability Melbourne; Jemima Griffith, Marine, Transport and Liability Sydney; and Beth O’Connor, Healthcare Sydney
Promotion to Special Counsel: Beth Altson, Healthcare Melbourne; Peter Craney, Marine, Transport and Liability Sydney; Persephone Forster, Employment Sydney; Llinos Kent, Insurance Sydney; Jasmine Sandhu and Emily Unger, Liability Melbourne.
Kennedys offices in Sydney and Melbourne include 12 partners and 50 lawyers specialising in litigation and dispute resolution, particularly in insurance and reinsurance.
