Allianz Australia has appointed Julie Mitchell as Chief GM, Workers’ Compensation, effective immediately.

Ms Mitchell, who has been acting EGM Workers’ Compensation since last March, joined Allianz as an injury management advisor in 2000 and has held positions including GM Victoria and GM for the NSW Treasury Managed Fund business.

“With her 20-year career in the field, Julie has proven expertise in leading her team to deliver productive, positive outcomes for employees and employers alike,” Allianz Australia MD Richard Feledy said.

Prior to joining Allianz, Ms Mitchell held roles at WorkCover NSW and also worked in the occupational rehabilitation industry.
