Allianz, Suncorp, MLC Life and TAL have been named “leaders in workplace gender equality”.

The Workplace Gender Equality Agency citation recognises commitment and best practice, with a record 141 organisations named this this year.

Allianz is cited for the 10th consecutive year, while Suncorp has made it six in a row.

Half of Suncorp’s board and senior leadership team are women.

Allianz says it will reach a target of 40% of women in leadership positions by 2020, and its gender pay gap is less than 1%.
