Insurance-focused law firm Barry.Nilsson has appointed four new principals, taking its national total to 31.

Colby Treasure, who specialises in workers’ compensation, public liability, employers’ liability and compulsory third party, will lead the WA insurance practice alongside Toby Barrie.

Also promoted are Katie Swain, part of the insurance and health team in Melbourne, Samantha Pillay, who specialises in health-related medical malpractice and professional indemnity, and family law specialist Will Stidston.

The firm has also announced 19 other promotions across special counsel, senior associate and associate levels.
