Legal developments in directors’ and officers’ insurance, workcover schemes and product liability will be among the topics at the Annual Insurance Intensive this month.

The conference – held by the Australian Insurance Law Association and Queensland Law Society – is on the Gold Coast from May 23-24. Registration is still open.

Speakers will include QBE Europe Claims Director David Lloyd, Suncorp Manager for GI Motor Investigations, Fraud and Intelligence Chris Loane and Liberty Senior Underwriter for Crisis Management Solutions Donna Niblock.

There will also be a session on mediation and a debate on emerging risks.
