Insurance law association honours top students

Four high-achieving students have been recognised by the Australian Insurance Law Association (AILA).

They have each won $1000 for gaining the best grades in insurance law and regulation modules run by the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF).

The winners are Matthew Abslom of Ansvar Insurance in Victoria, for insurance law and regulation; Deborah Bartel of JLT in SA, for insurance law and regulation for brokers; Tim Koeppler of Cunningham Lindsey Australia in Victoria, for loss adjusting law and regulation; and Amanda Coito of CKA Risk Solutions in WA, for workers’ compensation law and regulation.

“Our long-standing association with [ANZIIF] in support of those working and studying within the industry is buoyed by the continued high levels of academic excellence achieved by students,” AILA President David Lee said.
