Recoveries Corporation Group Chairman John Wauchope has been awarded an OAM in the Queen’s Birthday Honours.

His award was for services to the insurance industry and the community in Victoria.

Mr Wauchope is currently Director of BRM Risk Management, Chairman of Black Lawyers and a member of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance.

He was formerly chairman of the Victorian branch of the Australian Insurance Association between 1984 and 1989.

Mr Wauchope was also a former chairman of the regional advisory panel of the Insurance Council between 1986 and 1988.
