Broking group Insurance Advisernet has today marked 25 years since the business first opened its doors in Australia.

The business has grown from a start-up founded by Ian Carr in 1996 to an Australian and New Zealand group that looks after more than 95,000 clients, 190,000 policies and which handles more than $850 million in premium.

“We are extremely proud of our achievements over the past 25 years,” the company says today on its LinkedIn page.

Insurance Advisernet offices were marking the event with celebratory morning teas, with photos of the best events putting offices in the running for $10,000 to be directed to a charity of their choice through the company’s Foundation.

MD Shaun Standfield says the group’s conference at the Gold Coast in October will also celebrate the anniversary with teams from Australia and New Zealand set to attend, depending on the COVID-19 situation.
