Broker group Insight has announced the finalists in its annual awards for excellence, with winners to be named at its annual conference on May 19.

Finalists for the Les McInerney Award of Excellence are Paul Newman of M&S Insurance (Broker) Services, Latoya Wallace of Elite Insurance Brokers, and David Brockwell of Nadic Insurance Brokers. The award recognises excellence in staff with more than five years’ industry experience.

Finalists for the Norm Dyer Award of Excellence are Courtney Lee of Simplex Insurance Solutions and Sharni Hood of Ruralco Insurance – Rodwells. The award recognises staff with up to three years’ experience and encourages them to pursue academic qualifications.

“The standard of the nominees is ever-improving, which is a reflection on the level of professionalism in the industry, especially among the younger generation,” Insight Executive Officer Bill Friend told insuranceNEWS.com.au.

“The Les McInerney Award is intended to recognise the valuable contribution many of our more senior members make to the broking house.”
