Insight Australia Group presented three awards at its annual conference in Cairns at the weekend.

Simplex Insurance Solutions broker Samantha Baker won the Norm Dyer Award of Excellence, given to industry workers with up to three years’ experience to encourage them to “follow their dreams” and further their qualifications.

Queensland broker Natasha Burr, of Parmia Insurance, won the Les McInerney Award of Excellence, which recognises professionals with more than five years’ experience.

Warwick Remington, a founding member of the Regional Insurance Brokers Association, which later became Insight, received the Peter Michell Friends of Insight award.
