Insight move facilitates training initiatives
Insight Insurance Brokers Association will relocate its head office from Melbourne’s Dandenong area to a larger office in Wheelers Hill to give it more scope to deliver its training programs in different ways.
Executive Officer Bill Friend says the additional space will allow training days to be held at Insight headquarters rather than off-site.
There will also be space for a production suite enabling the group to hold webinars and record presentations by underwriters which can then be put online for members to access.
“We’ve got a large number of country-based rural and regional members, and instead of them having to travel to a venue to do their CIP training they will be able to go online and build up points that way,” Mr Friend told insuranceNEWS.com.au.
Insight has 43 member firms in 170 locations around Australia.
