Service provider Innovation Group Australia has expanded its executive team, appointing former QBE stalwart Rod Wood as Group Executive Insurance.

He will work alongside Group Executive Operations Venus Sopikiotis.

The pair will “lead Innovation Group’s efforts to help insurance clients increase profitability, customer satisfaction and retention levels through the provision of high-quality business processing services”.

Mr Wood held regional, state and national roles during his 24-year stint with QBE.

Ms Sopikiotis, who has five years’ experience with Innovation Group’s executive team, has taken on an expanded role with responsibility for delivering business processing services to all insurance and fleet clients.
