Insurers and industry bodies have received six awards at this year’s Learn X Learning and Technology Impact Awards.

The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) won the Best Learning Program – Occupational Health and Safety category.

ANZIIF’s web-delivered program was developed last year and uses interactive multimedia to focus on health and safety in the office. The program is used for in-house staff induction courses.

GM Education Clim Pacheco says the program “is now being incorporated into our insurance and financial services qualifications for the benefit of the industry”.

Other winners included Chubb Australia (compliance), Suncorp Learning Academy (online), AMP Horizons (customised), and Bupa Australia (blended learning program).

Bupa Australia placed second in the category Best eLearning Design – Video.
