The first In The Room conference promises to be a “world-class” event, according to the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF).

Key speakers include former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani and London Olympics director of communications Jackie Brock-Doyle.

Preparations have gone “exactly to plan”, ANZIIF CEO Joan Fitzpatrick says.

“I have no doubt attendees from this year will look back at the exposure and experiences they had at In The Room with awe, feeling utterly inspired,” she told insuranceNEWS.com.au.

ANZIIF says it is “happy with the current number of registrations” but will not provide figures. The event was originally scheduled for last December, but was postponed due to a lack of interest. It starts in Sydney on Thursday.
