More than 50 insurance industry leaders from around the world will participate as “anchor” speakers at the 2016 International Insurance Society (IIS) Global Insurance Forum.

The conference, to be held at the Shangri-La Singapore hotel on June 12-15, is expected to attract more than 500 people from 40 countries.

The theme of the conference is “innovation and industry transformation”.

This year’s conference, which is held annually in either London, New York or Singapore, will explore “all facets of innovation, including disruptive innovation, Big Data, risk resilience, cyber risk, innovations in healthcare and the rise of the Asean market.

It will also feature presentations on challenges facing the insurance industry, including how to drive change in response to internal and external forces, and remaining competitive and relevant in the global marketplace.
