Insurance & Care NSW (icare) has named the finalists in its awards scheme recognising outstanding performance in injury management, service delivery and broker engagement.

“This year’s finalists are an impressive group who have consistently exceeded customer expectations and serve as a benchmark for their peers across the NSW workers’ compensation schemes,” CEO Vivek Bhatia said.

“They are talented individuals who demonstrate that scheme agents and brokers are vastly improving the customer experience for workers affected by a workplace injury.”

The finalists include:

• Outstanding contribution by a team: Specialist Team, GIO; Team Insight, EML; and Low-Touch Claims, GIO.
• Excellence and innovation in injury management: Allied Health Initiative Team, EML; Strategy and Continuous Improvement Team, EML; and North Coast Safety Network, QBE.

Winners will be announced on Thursday next week.
