State insurer icare will hold its annual conference and awards event on September 17 at the International Convention Centre in Sydney.

The event celebrates excellence in risk management practice across NSW.

Awards are up for grabs in six categories: strategic risk, mentally healthy workplace, workers’ compensation innovation, general lines innovation, emerging leader and the Steve Hunt Award for outstanding contribution to the NSW public sector.

Nominations close on June 19 and registration for the conference opens on May 15.
