Insurance & Care NSW’s (icare) “aware” awards for health and safety are being opened to industry nominations.

icare has presented the awards for the past two years, but this year the scheme has been formalised and businesses striving to prevent work-related injuries and illnesses are encouraged to nominate.

“Health and safety should be front of mind as employers and workers of NSW go about their day,” icare’s GM Injury Prevention and Pricing Jason McLaughlin said.

“Over the coming months we’ll be acknowledging the businesses that clearly value their employees by investing in innovative initiatives.”

Businesses can nominate themselves or another company for an award.

Winners will gain automatic selection to the icare Care and Service Excellence awards. For more information, click here.
