A memorial service for people killed in workplace accidents was held in Sydney last week.

Insurance & Care NSW’s Interim CEO John Nagle, who attended the event at Reflection Park near Darling Harbour, says the impact of a workplace death never ends for families and colleagues.

On average, 53 deaths occur due to workplace accidents every year in NSW. The number of fatal accidents has dropped by 49% over the past decade.
