ICA quiet on CEO search
The Insurance Council of Australia (ICA) has a new Deputy President, and it’s still searching for a CEO to replace Kerrie Kelly, who starts work this month as the new Director-General of the Association of British Insurers.
Wesfarmers General Insurance MD Rob Scott has stepped up as Deputy President, taking over from IAG CEO Mike Wilkins, who stays on as a non-executive director.
Allianz Australia MD Terry Towell remains President, and the other directors (apart from Ms Kelly) are back: Ansvar CEO John Peberdy, FM Global VP Australia Operations Ian Berg, Gen Re Australia MD Chris Crowder, Munich Re Australasia MD Heinrich Eder, QBE Insurance Australia CEO Terry Ibbotson, Suncorp CEO Personal Insurance Mark Milliner, Swiss Re Australia and NZ head Russell Higginbotham and Zurich Australia CEO David Smith.
