The Insurance Council of Australia (ICA) has announced Youi CEO Hugo Schreuder and Royal Automobile Club of Tasmania (RACT) Chief Insurance Officer Paul Sofronoff as its newest board members.

ICA CEO Andrew Hall says the new appointments “bring diverse experiences and perspectives” to the board as it continues to advocate for increased investment in resilience.

“The appointments of Hugo and Paul to the ICA Board come at a time of great forward momentum for the general insurance industry, particularly our role in spearheading the creation of a more resilient Australia by guiding government policy and investment.”

Mr Schreuder and Mr Sofronoff’s terms will commence on December 5.
