IAG Customer Labs recruits start-up expert

IAG has named Andrew Stead as Customer Labs Director Strategic Initiatives.

He joins from Data61, a data innovation group where he was responsible for building new companies from research and development projects, and managing the start-up portfolio.

He has more than 10 years’ experience working with start-up founders and investors.

“[Mr Stead] is highly regarded in the start-up and research commercialisation communities,” IAG Chief Customer Officer Julie Batch said.

“He brings a wealth of knowledge to IAG, with significant experience in building and nurturing new businesses. 

“His role will be pivotal in creating new opportunities across the business through engagement with boundary-pushing entrepreneurs and start-ups, as well as research organisations.”

IAG Customer Labs is responsible for customer experience strategy and product innovation through data and insights, brand architecture and new business.
