Hurley takes ANZIIF marketing role

The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance has appointed Meg Hurley to the new position of GM Marketing and Customer Insights.

Ms Hurley, currently Marketing and Communications Manager for broker group Austbrokers, will join the institute next month.

She says the customer insight management function has become more prominent in the past five years as companies strive to get closer to consumers and their buying preferences.

“Every company I’ve worked in uses market research [customer insight] to ascertain what products they need to introduce or improve, and to better understand their customers,” she told insuranceNEWS.com.au.

Ms Hurley has previously held marketing roles with Budget car rental, online retailer Sussan, Symbion Health and Ansvar Insurance.
