Hollard wins 'best workplace for fathers’
Hollard has been named Best Workplace for Fathers at this year’s Australian Father of the Year Awards.
The awards honoured the insurer for its updated parental leave policy, enacted in 2018, to extend Super contributions and leave periods to three years for new fathers.
Hollard says it experienced a 46% rise in the number of parental leave days taken by fathers in the most recent financial year, which it credited to the updated policy.
“It’s gratifying to be recognised for the changes we are seeking to make through our policies at Hollard to support fathers, families, and children,” Hollard CEO Paul Fahey said.
The firm also says its flexible and hybrid working policies act as a further advantage to allow parents to participate in important activities with their families without having to sacrificing professional growth.
