Hollard has appointed Stuart Byars as head of intermediated.

“Stuart brings his varied and extensive insurance experience to the role ... where he will be responsible for the underwriting agency and broker partners across Australia and New Zealand,” Hollard says. “Stuart has been an entrepreneur within the industry, having started his own underwriting agencies, coupled with experience as COO of Gallaghers and finance roles with AIG and Suncorp.”

Mr Byars was most recently CEO of Mustard Underwriting and is a co-founder of the business, which launched last year.
