Hollard appoints interim CIO

Graeme Wilson has been appointed Hollard Interim Chief Information Officer.

Sydney-based Mr Wilson spent 12 years in senior technology roles at QBE, and has also worked at IAG and Macquarie Bank.

The change comes after Hollard promoted Jamie Smith to the role of Chief Transformation Officer last month. Hollard also recently appointed former Zurich Australia COO Suzi Leung as Chief Commercial Officer.

“Graeme has extensive experience in in the insurance industry leading large, multi-disciplinary teams to transform, operationalise, run, and enhance technology solutions across complex programs of work, which will be a great asset to the team,” Hollard said. “We’re excited to have him on board.”

Melbourne-based Mr Smith, who joined Hollard as CIO in 2019 and was formerly a partner at EY, says he will “focus on the shifts required to position us for the future”.

“I lead the strategy execution vehicles, including business design and architecture, organisational change management, technology and data enablement, delivery centres and the ecosystem needed to execute on our vision,” he said.
