HDI Global has named a leadership team for its property, power and energy, and marine lines in Australasia following the transfer overseas of underwriting manager Kai Brueggemann.

Dale Graf has been appointed Underwriting Manager Property, Joel Mitchell takes the role of Underwriting Manager Marine and Alex Hind becomes Underwriting Manager Power and Energy, leading a new dedicated business line.

The managers, appointed from within the company, will report to Stefan Feldmann, HDI Global Australia MD and Regional Head Australasia.

Mr Brueggemann, who has led property and marine, will leave Australia next month to take an international role within the group.

HDI also says Vikash Raman, previously with Zurich and QBE 386, will join the Australian business as Liability Claims Manager.

Mr Raman’s appointment follows the arrival last year of David Lloyd as Regional Claims Manager and Kevin Sullivan as Property Claims Manager.

“This further reinforces our focus and service offering to liability insurance, with HDI recognising the value in a strong claims proposition for our clients and brokers,” Mr Feldmann said.
