Specialty insurer HDI Global has appointed Anja Dix-Eberhardt as Head of Risk and Compliance.

Ms Dix-Eberhardt was formerly Enterprise Risk Management Senior Manager at QBE and has also spent six years at HDI owner Talanx in Germany and three years at life insurer TAL in Sydney.

HDI has also appointed Nick Newton as Head of Finance and Operations. He joins from 1Cover Travel Insurance, where he was CFO.

Both new recruits report to GM Mark Fleiser.
