The key events of the last year in insurance will be the focus of the upcoming annual General Insurance Exchange.

The conference, to be held at Sydney’s Luna Park on March 19 and 20, will review the insurance events of 2011 and cover the key issues facing the insurance sector.

The program features numerous senior industry figures, including Wesfarmers Insurance MD and Insurance Council of Australia President Rob Scott, IAG CEO of Direct Insurance Andy Cornish, Suncorp CEO Personal Insurance Mark Milliner and IAG NZ CEO Jacki Johnson.

Andrew Kearnan, Senior Insurance Analyst at Merrill Lynch Australia, will give a keynote speech on the industry outlook, while Natural Disaster Insurance Review Chairman John Trowbridge will provide an update on current government thinking.
